Here’s another lesson I learned from Eben Pagan at his Man Transformation Event.
Honestly it was a bit frightening to see how well thought out Eben’s Double Your Dating business was, right from the start.
Aside from the smaller details like using stage name and business name formulas - phonetically proven to stick in people’s minds (David DeAngelo, and Double Your Dating. Yeah, it wasn’t by chance) - Eben gave his 3 part criteria for choosing a profitable market.
1. PAIN AND URGENCY (or irrational passion) - But PAIN AND URGENCY are better
2. Proactively seeking a solution
3. Few or no other perceived options (Or creating an entire category for yourself to create your own market and demand)
Since the dating world met all of these requirements (and then some) Eben began systematically and methodically putting his marketing practices to work.
The result? 6 years later he runs a business that does over 20 million in sales, has 80 virtual employees, and is teaching others how to do the same.
