The Myth of the Infinite Justice System

One of the most important lessons I learned from Eben Pagan at his Man Transformation seminar last week was the human tendency to think that we are all entitled to something.

That we are entitled to success, fame, or riches, and that it’s not “fair” if challenges pop up to rob us of what we are entitled to.

People naturally want to believe that there is a gigantic scoreboard in the sky that will balance the justices with the injustices. That there is a celestial, or Infinite Justice System at work.

Of course, there’s not.

But there are 2 ways to think about this.

You as an entrepreneur

On one hand you must understand that no cosmic calculator will ensure that your road to success is “fair”. You could go through failure after failure before finally achieving moderate success. Then you may have to go through another bunch of failures until you reach your goal.

There are no freebies. There are no free lunches.

The key is to turn off that part of your brain that seeks entitlement. In doing so you will stop passively reacting and waiting for situations and events to help you in your business.

Instead, you will start acting purposefully to create the situations and events that will ensure your success.

You as a marketer

The other way to think about this is how you communicate with your prospects and customers.

If you can position your product or service so that it BECOMES the swift hand of entitlement in the Infinite Justice System - meaning - if you can give your prospects what they secretly and most ardently desire (but rarely get) - you can tap into an extraordinarily powerful buying emotion.

When your prospects read about your product or service and think THIS is the break they’ve been waiting for, and NOW I can get rich, NOW I can become more beautiful, NOW I can become famous… well then you’re well on your way to creating your own success.
