The Psychology Behind a 20 Million Dollar a Year Business – With Eben Pagan

I’ve written some copy for the dating industry, so I’ve seen firsthand the growth and evolvement of David DeAngelo’s Double Your Dating business.

In fact, his success was so phenomenal that he began his own marketing and coaching program called the “Altitude Program” in 2007 – under his real name, Eben Pagan.

And in typical Eben Pagan fashion, in this video clip, he gives away a ton of valuable marketing tips and secrets that make you think differently about your business.

One secret that is not shared here but is worth talking about is Eben’s principle of “moving the free line.”

Many entrepreneurs are averse to giving away their information for free.

“Why would I give away something that I can sell?” is the typical mentality.

But Eben is absolutely steadfast in his belief that your best and most effective material should be given away – up front.

Why?

Because this compels the prospect to think, “Hm, if the stuff he’s giving away is this good… how good is the material he has for sale?”

Plus, you will build far more trust and credibility when you give away quality information, as opposed to trying to sell up front.

Another important concept Eben talks about in this video clip is the concept of over delivering on the content in your product or service.

This thinking came about when he thought back to his days as a poor kid, dreaming with his friends about ways to get $1 from a million people.

After years and years of trial and error, he realized the importance of actually creating value for people.

He realized that by giving $100 worth of value and selling it to a million people for $10, his success rate and profits were soaring.

The last point has to do with “getting the short end of the stick.”

Eben advises going against social and cultural norms by asking you to love getting the short of the stick.

Why?

Because in order to become wealthy you must first become wealthy in your mind.

How?

By giving immense value to your prospects and customers, even if you are getting compensated for less than it’s worth, or not even at all.

Having an abundant mentality is one of Eben’s secrets to becoming enormously wealthy.

And notice what happens at the end of the video clip?

Actually, I’m not going to tell you so you can see the marketing technique for yourself.

And there is a lot more information here.

So click play, sit back, and enjoy.
